· Help the bride with wedding planning. Such as: helping the bride choose her gown, help select bridesmaids' dresses, schedule appointment for bridesmaids to be fitted, make calls to vendors, help address invitations. · Host a bridal shower with other bridesmaids. · Helps the bride get dressed on her wedding day. · Arranges the bride’s veil and train before and during the ceremony. · Holds the bride’s bouquet during the ceremony. · Keeps the groom’s wedding ring until the ring exchange. · Stands next to the groom during the receiving line. · Will sit to the bride’s right at the reception. · Signs the marriage certificate as a witness. · Bustles the bride’s train before reception begins. · Dances with the best man during the first dance. · Helps the bride change into her going away outfit. May also be responsible for bringing the wedding gown to the cleaners or home. · Help the best man bring the gifts to the bride and groom’s home. |

Best Man

· Helps groom find accommodations for other groomsmen and ushers that live out-of-state. · Organizes a bachelor party for the groom. · Makes sure the groom is properly dressed and at the church on time · Keeps the bride’s wedding ring until the ring exchange. · Signs the marriage license as a witness. · Give the Officiate a sealed envelope with his fee in it (paid by the groom) after the ceremony. · Will sit to the groom’s left at the reception. · Dances with the maid/matron of honor during the first dance. · Offers the first toast to the bride and groom at the reception. · Helps the groom change into his going away outfit. |

· Assist the maid/matron of honor in planning a bridal shower. · May also help the bride with wedding planning. · Walk behind the ushers during the processional. · They stand to the left of the maid/matron of honor in the receiving line. · Sit at the head table with bride and groom. |

Brides Maids |

· Seat guests at the ceremony. · Escort the mother of the groom to her seat. · Escort the mother of the bride to her seat. · Roll out a red or white carpet down the church aisle for the bride to walk on. |
